The drought is over! Labour is back in the driver's seat. I'm swimming in glee. Howard has gone, I will never see Jeanette again and Maxine has turned the sprinklers back on in our parched hearts.
It is on a par with my memory of Our Lady appearing to the Irish people in Knock. It meant we didn't need to spend so much in airfares going to Lourdes in France anymore. You can get anything blessed in Knock and buy things. I have a bumper sticker on my car saying "I was knocked up in Knock". Another Catholic blessing. love to you all, from Maura and all my children. Maura spotted at 'Musicircus' Melbourne International Arts Festival, bringing love to all in Fed Sq

Maxine, the giant killer. She did it!

Hello all, well the 24th Nov 2007 was the best day in 11.5 years and it is all due I think to Maxine. GO GIRL.
Though lighting the candle worked too!

Apparently Jeanette has already moved out and told Johnny to stick WorkChoices up his jumper. He will be doing his own washing now. Cheap dry sherries, more cheap than dry, because it is Johnny will be the order of the day now and he has moved the drinks hour forward to just after Johnny gets back from his walk!

The sun is out again, and Play School is now safe. (This reference requires some thought!)

My creation

Hello all especially Leslie, here is my Library Trading Card. I don't know how to put a barcode on a book but I sure know how to make you laugh. So if any libraries out there having a staff Xmas party coming up or something on next year. Blog me!
PS One more sleep till Maxine knocks off the little prick. That is a direct quote from my elderly mother! She knows what's what.
If Maxine happens to fall on her sword when Kevin gets in then Kevin 07 will always be grateful to Maxine for distracting Howard from the big picture to focus on Bennelong.
Go Maxine. We will never forget you. love Monx PS love to Leslie too!

Hello Everyone, I am alive and still in the race for completing Learning 2.0. I am way down the field, but I am going to finish. It could be like Katie Holmes's recent 'amazing NYC marathon', people are saying 'how did Mon do it and will she wear a bra! Fancy that; the woman (Katie) runs 42kms in one morning, b/c she wanted 5.29:58 hours away from Tom, and now everyone is down on her b/c she went bra-less.
Re Maxine for Bennelong. Maxine is going beautifully; she hasn't put a foot wrong in the campaign and could upset the PM's apple cart. But we are still on tender hooks as Mr Howard is as cunning as a *#$#house rat, so the candle is still lighting for Maxine.
Re the Learning 2.0. I don't know what I am doing, if it wasn't for Sharon I wouldn't be typing this but it doesn't matter, because I am having a better week than Noel Ashby.

I know you are all out there, I just can't see you.
Thanks for the posts, keep in touch. Pop in for a cuppa & love to all the family. Mon x

GO MAXINE, GO GIRL!!!!

McKew holds a candle to the little f-cker
Monday, 12 March 2007
Eagle-eyed readers of Saturday's Adelaide Advertiser may have glimpsed what the paper's sub-editors appear to have missed, that little note propped against the candle in the bottom right of this picture, the little note that reads: "Candle ceremony for Maxine McKew hope she knocks the f-cker off". Surely a tad partisan?
